And embellished with faithful and highly finished protraits &c. In two volumes - volume one containing the evidence in support of the charges. Volume II containing the evidence and speeches for the defence. A quite acceptable copy of this hardback first edition - two volumes Rebound in library cloth. Ex Library copy with the usual marks and numbers etc: (including electronic & security tags) Clean and tidy covers. No major dirt. No chips or tears. Fractional bumping / edge wear only. Internally mainly clean and tidy, with no major damage to it. Unfortunately the frontis portrait of Caroline is missing. All other illustrations and portraits are present. Some darkening to the page edges and light foxing / darkening. . No inscriptions other than the library marks. Xviii. , ii. , 664., 719 + 22 plates (of 23) and a few other in text illustrations / plans. This is a big heavy pair of books (almost 2 kg packed). We don't ask for additional shipping money within the UK, but this will be sent Parcel force (within UK) for the ABE shipping amount.
