A beautiful facsimile copy of this classic medical text (from the First edition of 1910) issued by the Classics of Medicine library. Limited and numbered edition (Limitation unknown) this is copy 541. Full leather binding with 22 carat gold embossed design and All Edges Gilt in 22 carat gold. Internally spotless, with marbelled endpapers. There is an ex-libris bookplate to the inside front board and a plate showing the limitation of the series. The book itself is a facsimile copy of the first edition on high quality paper. Integrated Silk bookmark. A beautiful presentation volume. 379 pages This is a big heavy book.
