London William Pickering 1837 Buckram Very Good with no dust jacket
A nice copy of this book, the sixth edition of this work. Bound in contemporary buckram, with a little dirt and darkening to the edges of the boards. No chips or tears - a little bumping to the head and tail of the spine. There is the remnant of a contemporary label to the spine, but only about half of it remains. Internally in excellent condition. A little foxing to the end papersand the ocassion spot of foxing throughout the book. Otherwise in very clean condition. A slight weakness to the rear hinge, but still strong. Very small tear to advert at rear of book (v small not affecting text - BB15) A contemporary inked number to inside front board, but no inscriptions. Overall an excellent book. [i-v], vi-xii, (1)-381, [3] Signatures B-BB16.; 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall
